Searching for BVI companies
How can I search for a BVI company?
You just type the company name in the search box at our homepage, complete the payment and we'll do the search for you. Afterwards we'll send you a company search document via email. If you don't want to use your email address you can request the search as private and we'll give you a download code
I entered a company name and a checkout page appears. Why do I have to pay for a company search?
Company searches in the BVI have a fee involved and they require manual processing. In addition, the company search document is more than just a name check but it gives very useful information about the company. These searches can take some time to be completed. We only do urgent searches with results within 24 hours on business days.
Is there an official online search system for BVI companies?
There is no publicly available official search system. This system actually exists but it can only be used by members of the BVI Financial Services Commission. We also have a search system with contains several thousand BVI companies. If you are interested in using it please contact us.
What if I don't know the exact name of the company?
You can still request the search and we'll contact you in case there are multiple choices. If you know the company number the search can be completed with more accuracy. This also applies if you only know the company number
How long does it take?
We are specialized in urgent searches delivered within 24h. Delivery time depends on the Registry of Corporate Affairs opening hours which is Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
Is the company notified about the search?
Absolutely not. We have no relationship or contact with the companies nor their Registered Agents. All of the requests are treated as highly confidential.
What if the company is not found or a certificate can't be issued?
In that case we'll refund your purchase minus our US$50 non-refundable processing fee

Are you affiliated with the BVI Financial Services Commision?
We are an independent private company without any affiliation with the BVI FSC. We are clients of the BVI FSC as we retrieve documents from them.
How can I prove if someone is director of a BVI Company?
There is no way to obtain a public list of directors of a BVI company. So in that case you will have to ask for a Notarized and Apostilled copy of the Register of Directors from the company itself.
